Vali is our Lead Designer specializing in venture building with Catalyst Fund companies. With over six years of experience, he has contributed to a variety of projects in areas such as gender, agriculture, climate change, waste management, peacebuilding, livelihoods, and education. His expertise encompasses art direction, exhibition design, branding & identity, editorial design, print design, digital product design, storyboarding, prototyping, and infographics/data visualization.

Before his current role, Vali was a design lead at Climes.io, a climate finance startup focused on facilitating transparent capital flow to climate solutions in India. He also served as a Visual Communication Designer at Dalberg Design, where he was involved in design strategy, rapid prototyping, and user research. His projects included efforts like debunking Covid-19 vaccination myths in Nagaland, India. Earlier, he was part of Mindtree Ltd., working in their social impact division, Mindtree.Org, and the internal digital product design team, Digital Inside.

Vali holds a Bachelor's in Biotechnology and an M.A. in Critical and Visual Design from the Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology. Committed to his passion for the climate sector, he completed a Climate Designers program with Terra.Do.
